A Trusted Rug Resource for Interior Designers

A partnership built around your vision.

The right rug does more than complete a room—it brings the entire design together. Arakelian Rugs works with interior designers to find distinctive, beautifully made rugs that complement the architecture, furnishings, color palette, and personality of each space.

Family-owned since 1908, we offer more than a century of knowledge, attentive service, and experience with fine handwoven rugs. Whether you are furnishing one room or managing an entire residence, we can help you confidently navigate the selection process and find the right piece for your project.

Your Partner in the Rug Selection Process

Choosing a rug involves much more than matching colors. Scale, proportion, construction, texture, durability, and placement all contribute to how a rug will perform within a finished space.

We take the time to understand your design direction, practical requirements, timeline, and budget. Then we help narrow the possibilities, allowing you to present your client with carefully considered options instead of an overwhelming number of choices.

Our goal is to support your creative process—not compete with it.

How We Can Help

• Curated Rug Selection: Share your room plans, dimensions, fabric samples, inspiration images, or color palette with us. We will help identify rugs that support the overall design while adding depth, character, and visual balance.
• Rugs for Every Design Direction: From timeless traditional patterns to transitional and contemporary designs, we can help locate the right rug for a wide range of interiors and architectural styles.
• Expert Advice: Our experience allows us to offer practical guidance on sizing, placement, construction, materials, condition, care, and long-term suitability. We can also help clients understand what makes a handwoven rug distinctive and valuable.
• Cleaning, Repair and Restoration: Our relationship does not have to end when the rug is delivered. Arakelian Rugs provides professional cleaning, repair, restoration, and appraisal services for both newly purchased rugs and pieces your clients already own.
• Delivery and Placement Assistance: We can help coordinate the careful delivery and placement of rugs, giving you one less detail to manage as your project approaches completion.
